The Draft Classes

Who's winning the draft? The top-10 overall picks of every class since 2020, ranked by what they've actually produced — with the later picks who've outscored them shown in gold — then summon any first- or second-round pick onto the chart and start the argument.

How this works. Red bars are the picks taken 1st through 10th overall in the selected draft; gold bars are the later first- or second-round picks whose points rank among the class's top 10 scorers. All are ranked by career NHL regular-season points through 2025-26 (completed seasons only), fetched from NHL data. Nothing is estimated — a player with no NHL games yet shows zero, honestly. The compare box covers every first- and second-round pick in the class; whole-league compare (any pick, any round) arrives with the live site this fall. Click a bar or a name to open that player's career stats page, or use the box above to chart picks against each other in Compare Players. Drafting team shown; points credit follows the player wherever he plays now.
